At aerodromes certified as airports, a dry Transport Canada standard Wind Direction Indicator will react to wind speed as follows:

WIND SPEED:

a) 15 KT = horizontal wind indicator angle 
b) 10 KT = 5 degrees below horizontal
c) 6 KT = 30 degrees below horizontal.
